Most Wanted Movies

These chosen horror movies are still in development and will attack the movie houses soon! :D

JEEPERS CREEPERS III
Set 23 years after the previous film, we follow Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips), who is now a mother. Realizing that the return of the Creeper is just around the corner, she begins to have terrible recurring nightmares of her own teenage son confronting the creature and suffering the same fate as her deceased brother. Now a rich and powerful woman, she's determined to finally put an end to the Creeper once and for all.

  • Originally thought to be titled Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us and Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral.
  • MGM originally inteded this to go straight to DVD, but writer/director Victor Salva hopes it'll go theatrical like the previous two.
  • The film's subtitle "Cathedral" plays an important role in the story.
  • Writer/director Victor Salva promises new surprises in the story and claims that this will be the biggest of the three films.
  • We will see the return of the infamous truck the Creeper drove in the first movie.
  • Gina Phillips returns as the character "Trish" from the first film.
  • Actor Ray Wise reprises his role as "Jack Taggart Sr." from the previous film.
  • Jonathan Breck returns as the "Creeper."
  • Victor Salva will once again write and direct.
  • Various characters from the previous two films may have roles or make cameo appearances.
  • It's said that we will be given more background on the "Creeper."
  • The film will serve as a prequel and sequel, starting off in the "Old West" and then switching to twenty years after the events of the previous film.
  • This film has been in talks since before the sequel was released back in '03.

FADING OF THE CRIES



A young man armed with a deadly sword, saves a teenage girl named Sarah from a malevolent evil that has begun plaguing a small farmland town, while in search of an ancient necklace that had belonged to Sarah’s Uncle. The two set out to get to Sarah's home safely, running through streets, fields, churches and underground tunnels, while being pursued by hordes of demonic creatures.

  • There's currently no US distribution.
  • Filming wrapped in November '08.
  • Produced by Brian Metcalf, Karoline Kautz and Thomas Ian Nicholas.
  • Being an FX-driven film, post-production is expected to last until 2010.
  • This is a an action-horror-fantasy.
  • Written and directed by FX-artist Brian Metcalf.






RESIDENT EVIL: AFTER LIFE


In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

  • Originally set for a September 17th 2010 theatrical release then moved forward to an August 10th release the same year. It was then rumored to have received a January 14th 2011 release, before going back to a September 10th 2010 date.
  • Actor Boris Kodjoe plays a leader of a group of survivors in L.A. that teams up with Alice.
  • Prison Break star Wentworth Miller plays "Chris Redfield".
  • Spencer Locke returns as "K-Mart".
  • Shawn Roberts replaces Jason O'Mara as "Albert Wesker".
  • Milla Jovovich returns as "Alice".
  • Ali Larter returns as "Claire Redfield".
  • The film reportedly begins shooting on September 28th for 8 weeks at Cinespace Film Studios in Toronto.
  • Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) was once said to play the role of Leon Kennedy.
  • This project was originally said to be off a couple years ago.
  • Original director/writer for the sequels Paul W.S. Anderson once again writes the script and returns as director.
  • The film was originally said to take place in Japan, where they also planned to film.
  • It's said that this film will be in 3D and kick off a new trilogy of RE films.

SILE
NT HILL 2

  • Davis Films aims to shoot the movie in 2010 after Resident Evil 4, which it's now prepping.
  • It's said that if Christophe Gans doesn't return as director that they'll possible seek another foreign director.
  • Original director Christophe Gans would like to return as director, but if he is unable to, he'll remain close to production and feels that the visual style and tone of the first film should be kept in tact.
  • Writer Roger Avary (Silent Hill, Beowulf) returns.
  • The obvious sequel to the successful game-to-film adaptation.



SCREAM 4


  • Filming in Michigan.
  • (7/03/10) rumors have been floating around that due to Ehren Kruge's script changes some characters are now "dumbed down" and director Wes Craven doesn't have full control over the script.
  • Ehren Kruger (Scream 3, The Ring remake) has been brought on board to polish the script while writer Kevin Williamson works on the second season of the CW's Vampire Diaries.
  • Roger Jackson returns to the franchise as the infamous voice behind the mask and phone calls.
  • Alison Brie plays "Rebecca", Sidney Prescott's ambitious personal assistant who secretly envies her boss' reluctant fame and fortune.
  • Erik Knudsen plays the new Jamie Kennedy-type role, where he's familiar with all the conventions of a horror film and offers the comedy relief.
  • Adam Brody plays a cop, who recently graduated from college and was raised on the “CSI” TV series.
  • Marley Shelton plays a deputy, who knew Neve Campbell’s character in high school, a role that was originally going to Lake Bell.
  • Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) was originally going to play Jill's mother, but left the project due to scheduling conflicts and "script changes".
  • Lake Bell was originally going to play a police officer who knew Sidney Prescott from high school, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.
  • Hayden Panettiere would play the cousin's best friend, a nerdy film geek.
  • Rory Culkin would play a potential love interest for the "Jill" character.
  • It's said that the casting process is proceeding slowly, because Craven and Dimension are not sending the script to agencies in order to protect its secrecy. With only character descriptions, actors are having a difficult time deciding whether certain roles are for them.
  • Craven had this to say about Sidney Prescott after 10 years later: "She has been off by herself and living her own life, and she’s even written a book that has gotten a lot of critical acclaim. She’s kind of put her life back together in the course of these 10 years. But, certainly, there would be no Scream without Ghostface, so she has to confront him again, but now as a woman who has really come out the darkness of her past."
  • Wes Craven is signed on to direct the next two sequels.
  • It's said that this movie could very well be a standalone film since it contains a beginning, middle and end, and the two follow-up sequels are dependent on the box office performance of the fourth.
  • Writer Kevin Williamson debunked a rumor that the Randy (Jamie Kennedy) character would somehow return.
  • Franchise creator Wes Craven returns to the director's chair.
  • It's rumored that since we will follow a new group of characters that the returning characters would likely be killed off.
  • Writer Kevin Williamson has been quoted saying that he would (in one form or another) include some subtle references to the following "manga comics, Asian ghost girl movies, there's some PG-13 horror movies in there, vampire movies, M. Night Shyamalan movies and torture porn movies, even though they've come and gone."
  • It's said that this film will introduce a group of new characters that we will follow for the next three films.
  • Takes place 10 years after the events of the previous film and back at the town of Woodsboro.
  • We will see the return of the Ghostface mask, while there may be another incarnation of it down the road as well.
  • The Deputy Dewey character is said to now be a Sheriff.
  • It's said that the characters Gale Weathers and Deputy Dewey are now married and have a kid.
  • Courteney Cox Arquette returns as reporter "Gale Weathers".
  • David Arquette returns as "Deputy Dwight 'Dewey' Riley".
  • Neve Campbell returns as "Sidney Prescott".
  • Neve Campbell once said that she would not return as Sidney Prescott unless she were in an insane asylum.
  • Kevin Williamson will write the script for this film, along with two other sequels, making it a new trilogy to the series.
